Corrections Policy

A practical process for identifying errors and making changes visible to readers.

Tell us what needs another look

A useful correction request identifies the article URL, the specific statement and the reason it may be inaccurate. Where possible, include an authoritative source that supports the proposed change. Please avoid including private medical information.

How a concern is assessed

The site owner is responsible for reviewing reported concerns against the cited evidence. A report may require checking the original source, seeking additional information or consulting an appropriately qualified professional. An automated answer alone is not sufficient to resolve a consequential health dispute.

Types of changes

Dates and transparency

The original publication date should be preserved. A genuine substantive update may carry an updated date; routine formatting edits should not be used to create a misleading appearance of renewed review. We do not promise a fixed response time or an independent medical review that has not occurred.
